Wladimir Klitschko’s suggestions to David Haye to beat Dereck Chisora – Boxing News
Even though the Klitschko brothers vowed not to comment on Dereck Chisora vs. David Haye, still Wladimir Klitschko felt obliged to share his suggestions with David Haye on beating Dereck Chisora.
Wladimir Klitschko, the current WBO, IBF and WBA heavyweight champion, revealed his blueprint of beating Dereck Chisora. It should be noted here that Wladimir Klitschko has not experienced Dereck Chisora in the ring first hand but his brother Vitali Klitschko
has.
David Haye will take on Dereck Chisora on July 14 at the Upton Park in London. The bout is a grudge match between the two. If Haye wins, he will proceed on with his aim of facing Vitali Klitschko.
When asked about beating Chisora, Wladimir stated, “I do not want to talk about the fight because I did not want to see it even take place, but I think Haye will win because he is better than Chisora.”
Previously, Wladimir’s elder brother Vitali Klitschko called the fight a freak show with freak rules. Both the brother sworn on not talking about the fight and completely condemning it.
Wladimir Klitschko, who currently stands with 57 wins, 3 losses and 50 knockouts, believes Haye is speedier and more powerful than Chisora, which will help him in defeating his opponent.
It should be noted here that the showdown between Haye and Chisora has been widely condemned by fighters all over the world. The fight is not being sanctioned by the British Board of Boxing Control, as none of the fighters holds a British fighting license.
Similarly, the World Boxing Council has condemned the fight too. Both the organisations have warned their officials against taking part in the event. According to a statement released by the BBBC a month back, any official, including agents, managers and fighters,
who participates in the event will have his license revoked.
The news did not sit well with Frank Warren, Chisora’s promoter. According to Warren, the BBBC is not entitled to threaten officials and that he will sue the organisation for such deeds. Despite a lot of controversies, the event is still on and will take
place on the scheduled date.
