  1. no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  2. No Wladimir Klitschko is the best heavyweight boxer today and is better than Lennox Lewis, and he's an A+ fighter.

The rest of the division is filled with C class fighters, so just like Lennox Lewis, it's not his fault nobody can match his skill level right now apart from his brother.

  3. The division is in worse shape now than it was in the 80's. And its not because there are no Americans holding titles or top ten rankings, its because fighers like Wladimir Klitschko are choking the life out of the division. Which is why people are buying up the p.p.v. fights of lower weight classes. And for the ones who defend the c**p I watched last night as real pure boxing at its finest u have no CONCEPT of boxing. The heavyweight division is considered the top because that is where epic battles take place and where household names are born, from bombing and taking out the opponent not pawing and clutching. Louis, Marciano, Ali, Dempsey, Frazier, Holmes and all the other greats would be ashamed of the division now.

  4. they REALLY SUCK i watched that fight on cable and man i was so ******* bored i mean cmon i understand at first fighters got to size each other out but jesus christ even in the 10 and 11 round they werent doing much fighting. The heavyweight division sucks so bad. I saw a lot of people in the stands and i could only wonder why they would pay too see such a boring fight. When they started to boo i was like saying well what do u expect would happen in a crappy fight like this you bunch of retards. Hey they say boxing is dead, trust me if this fight or any heavyweight fight can sell after the tyson, lewis, holyfield era boxing is never gonna die. the 147 welter division is the best division by far. i just saw carlos quintana take the title from williams in a pretty darn good fight. cotto against mayweather or de la hoya in 2009 coming soon can't wait!

  5. He doesn't suck, at all.  He beat a legitimate champion in unbelievably dominating fashion and made it look like the easiest fight of his life.  Ibragimov was throwing some huge looping punches...should Wlad have jumped in gung ho just to please the fans when he had a completely safe way of winning the fight?

In that scenario, it's down to Ibragimov to take more chances and try to get inside Wlad's jab.  Ok, so he'd have to take a few big shots to get there, but that was the only way he had a chance of winning and he didn't take it.

The division is very weak but it would be nice to see how Wlad's performance would vary against another powerful, big puncher with a good jab like Haye.  I know Haye's chin is questionable in the eyes of most people, but so is Wlad's.  I think that it would be a much better fight.

  6. You are sooooo correct SIR! It really sucks and that stinker of a fight does too.

  7. yes ,most of them suck. wladimir is good as far as technique and has all the physical tools, but just seems so scared to get hit, makes you wonder if he even likes to box. vitali, if he does box again probably isnt as talented as wladimir but has shown some heart and willingness to mix it up. lennox lewis was a much better champion than either of the klitchko brothers could hope to be , lewis was a real fighter. i think the heavyweight division would be more exciting without the klitchkos.maybe its time to create a superheavyweight division,so some of the more exciting lighter heavyweights dont have to fight these monster boring robots.

  8. Klitschko was following all the instructions of his coach, Emanuel Steward, and winning handily.  If it's an effective strategy, you use it.  Mayweather has been criticized for the same type of stuff.  We'll see what changes Samuel Peter and David Haye bring to the division.

  9. exacto. This period is the worst ever in the history oh HW boxing.

  10. yes you are  correct the fight was boring & where is klitchko's fighting pride all he does is jab. no wonder the crowd booed.

lennox lewis a c class fighter who are you kidding. he was the dominant heavy of his era & would have given all the great heavies one h**l of a fight & would have beaten 90% of them.

  11. I agree with Aceman on this one. The division really does suck bigtime at the moment!!

  12. I cannot improve on ACEMAN's answer, thumbs up ACE, you tell it like it is bro.

  13. He was about as boring as Ruiz!!!! I couldn't give a toss if he is the best heavy weight. That disgraceful display he called boxing actually damages the sport!! Any one who is dumb enough to call this big doppy clown a great champion should give themselves a bloody good uppercut!! I love this sport and fights like this just kill it!! If I went I would be asking for my money back.

BRING ON A REAL UP AND COMING CHAMP THAT DOMINATES.

    Just a bloody embarassment!!!

  14. I agree that the heavyweight division sucks right now and it is probably the worst that its ever been.  Wladimir Klitschko really disappointed on Saturday because he could have knocked Sultan Ibragimov out if he threw more than 10 right hands for the whole fight.  Emanuel Steward even told him before the last round: "This is going to look bad if you don't knock him out, he shouldn't be going 12 rounds with you."  Well, Steward was right because even thought Klitschko is still the number one heavyweight, he did not do what was expected of him in a heavyweight title fight except for jab.  I could understand if Ibragimov was a monstrous puncher like when Lennox Lewis fought David Tua, but that was not the case here, it was just Klitschko fighting tentative against a fighter that he should have knocked out.

  15. Yes it does there are no exciting boxers in that division since Mike Tyson left.  Even Lenox Lewis who was very good but was not a powerful boxer.  Nothing to get excited about In wouldn't pay for any of the bouts.

  16. Thumbs up to Ace & Blog!

The division hasn't been great in years. How else do explain Foreman retaking the championship 20years after his prime!

  17. It's not just the Heavyweights. Boxing as a whole has been on a sharp decline in the past few years. There isn't one fighter today that gets me excited. I grudging give credit to Mayweather  for staying unbeaten.  My problem with him      is,he hasn't truly been battle tested. I would rather watch the UFC than Boxing any day. This was a sport that I use to love but it's not the same anymore.

  18. Well it isnt a strong division the only powerful star is Klitscko no americans are in the top 20 other than eddie chambers who lost to a young impressive heavyweight alexander povetkin.  I think the only future of this division is klischkko, povetkin, and sam peter who is a powerful puncher.
