A few years ago I burned 100s of CDs into iTunes for Windows and have managed the library fine. My son (for unknown reasons) batch converted the entire library to WMA Protected format. They still play fine on my windows machine.
The problem is I have converted to an Apple Mac as my main home machine. iTunes for Mac doesn't convert or play WMA protected files. So I need to find a program to batch convert 1000s of songs from WMA Protected format to something iTunes for Mac will play.
1) Recommendations for a program? I’m willing to pay up to around $50.
2) What format is best to save the files to? mp3, mp4, wav, something else?
Thank you!
