i would like to see just to see what machida does with a guy who is really going to come after him. Tito just sat in his range all night, but wandy will try and chase him (i hope anyway) i think machida would actually win that fight, he is probably stronger than wandy, i mean tito couldnt over power him and tito is a very big 205 where as wandy is a very small 205. I think machida would win, by control as usuall, i would love to see wandy test his chin though, who knows maybe wandy could get him.

Wandy is better in every which way. If Machida chooses to keep a far distance, like always, then Wandy would attack viscously. Machida is nowhere near as good as Wandy in the clinch. Machida is a black belt in BJJ but Wandy is also. If either one of them takes it to the ground then Wandy would have the advantage in strength.

The only aspect of fighting Machida has over Wandy is technique. He might be a little smarter but Wandy's strength and explosiveness would overwhelm Machida.

Yeah I'd line up to watch that one.  Wanderlei would have to step up to 205 though, though that wouldn't be too hard for him.

Machida is awesome but I'd give it to the Axe Murderer.

Whoa.  Do you guys actually watch Silva fight?  He throws haymakers at a mile a minute and he's normally on people like a rabid wolverine, but where is his form?  I'll tell you, it's not there.

Put anyone with a good straight jab, which Machida has, up against Silva and I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that Silva will eat so many punches on his wild approaches that his face will look like a hippo tap danced on it.

But I agree.  The fight would be good if for no other reason than it would be definite proof that Machida isn't "some wussy who runs away all the time."  Get a clue folks - there is nothing wrong with fighting intelligently.  There's nothing wrong with picking your strikes and engaging in a fight on your own terms.  There's nothing wrong with preserving your body from unnecessary damage, thus insuring that you'll be grabbing paychecks for a longer amount of time.  Machida does all these things.

If machida doesnt run from exchanges it should be a good   fight. If Machida throws leg kicks all night like hes in Karate competition like all his other fights, it'll be pretty boring.

I don't know. The styles don't really match up into an exciting fight. Machida wouldn't allow Wanderlie to engage the way he likes o. Silva would just get reckless. Maybe one of his homerun punches would land, but more likely is that Machida would get out of the way.
