WoW Video Recorder?

I have Fraps and am going to buy it unless someone can help me. I heard you can hook your camcorder up to the computer and have it record, just like Fraps, but for free. How do I do this? I am not talking about pointing the camcorder at the screen and have it record. Anyone know how to do this? I have a Sony Handycam

if you have a higher end video card, it might have an S-video out port.  you might be able to hook up a VCR or DVD recorder to that the same way you would hook one of those to a TV to record a show.

It depends on the HandyCAM model, but it might support recording from an S-Video input.

Or if you have a TV that can take a digital input that matches the monitor output on the video card, you have record whatever shows up on the screen.

It would be complicated, and you're liable to lose quality if you use an RCA jack, but it's negligible.
