WoW druid or shadow priest?? please help?

druid!!

ok, I've used both a lv 70 priest and 70 druid before and I can honestly say pick druid as your main!! mainly because there are varieties, i really love how u can tank, melee/range dps or heal with just one class. It's just hard to get bored with it. Bear/cat/moonkin/aquatic/travel form :). With priest, u can only choose to heal or dps as shadow. But since you askin about shadow priest, shadow priests are usually wanted for raids because they are mana batteries to a group. Other thing, mana regen for a shadow priest even with vampiric touch (spell that regens your mana) kinda sucks. On long fights, I end up using alot of mana potions as shadow priests, around 2-3 at most. But as a moonkin druid, they have really good mana regen, i usually only use one mana potion at the most on boss fights. You'll know what I mean once u get there

Overall, druids are better for me, I like varieties. its just a matter of personal preference i guess

The decision is entirely yours, choose what you think sounds the most fun, I'll give a brief overview of each:

With a druid you can fill the role of literaly every group member, be it physical dps, ranged dps, tanking, or healing. Leveling from 1-20 as a druid can be one of the most painful leveling experiences in WoW, butif you muscle through it, druids are a great utility, and can be very fun.

Shadow priests, of course only suit one group role, and that is magic dps, but they're always desired in raids and parties, as they have the ability to provide small, constant heals for the group, and regenerate healer's mana. A good shadowpriest in pvp will be a pain to tear down, with the damage reduction from shadow form, Power Word: Shield every 15 seconds, ungodly dps, and outrageous dps.

Both have their benefits, you choose what's right for you.

Shadow priest are always wanted in big raid groups for their health and mana regen but they aren't great in a 5 man instance since they don't cc much. You can't use mind control much in 5 man instances. They do a ton of damamge if you get full epic gear. sadly shadow priests aren't good at PvP but they do usually win over a melee class. Druids are different because they can tank, melee dps, do magical dps, or heal. They are obviously wanted if their a tank or healer in groups and raids groups but their best dps comes from being a boomkin. They to don't have much CC unless they use cyclone or hibernate on an beast. Druids are great for healing in raids, because of their HOTs which make it easy to heal a lot of people at one time. Druids are also great at PvP. I suggest a shadow priest for raids because they do more damage, but i suggest a druid if you want to tank, heal, dps, or PvP.
