WoW ip ban question?

POSITIVE ANSWERS - If I play upstairs on my computer and my bro glides down on his comp do we have the same ip adress i am conneted to his modem downstairs he sais there different but im not sure also,

since he glides and me and my lil bro play if my lil bro plays on his comp downstairs then comes bak upstairs and plays on my is it possible for me and my lil bro to get banned because his ip adress was found on my computer

your IP is the same depending on what range of ip address your ISP gives you. your IP is different if you are using a router which will give home network IP address.

the only thing you need to know is if you and your lil bro and other bro are using the same account for WOW to make characters. If they are different then it shouldn't be a problem as they are only looking for account holders. I recall that you can make a certain amount of characters under an account and can only use one character at a time.

Not sure if they will ban you for it but yes you both are using the same ip address. The ip address is assigned by your isp it can change if you reset the modem but stays the same with each computer.

You shouldn't get banned for that, to check your IP's to see if they're different which I know they are, go to www.whatismyip.com from each computer, the IP's will be different.

They will however ban both accounts if both accounts were subbed with the same credit card.  So if mommy or daddy is paying for both accounts and he gets caught -- say goodbye to your account as well

You have different network IPs and MAC addresses, however, the visible IP to WoW servers is your ISP connection IP. It might or might not be static, you should try to restart the modem and find out. But to answer your question, no you will not get IP banned. Just make sure you are both using your own WoW accounts.
