^^^^HOLY SHITE! He only just got back to Philly!

So let's get this straight....He was drafted by the Flyers, went to Ottawa, went to Florida, went to Tampa, went back to Philly, and is now back in Tampa. Phew.

Do you think Tampa will get a contract worked out with him? He's still a UFA.

  1. Much like Nips i am not the least bit suprised

most of his carreer was played in Tampa and i'll bet Holmgren did this as a favor to him knowing he did not want to be here. Go Vinny Go   and Thanks for your services.......Yes i have alot of respect for him

  2. I believe Tampa will get a contract worked out with him.  If they did not have absolute confidence in their ability to sign him it would be a foolish move on their part to give up two draft picks for him.  Most likely the Flyers allowed Tampa and Prospal to negotiate prior to making the trade and they have already agreed to a contract.  Do not be surprised to hear Tampa announce that they have Prospal signed to a contract within a few days.

  3. I think Prospal had some serious issues with Torts (I don't feel like looking up how to spell his full name).  For example, in a post game interview after scoring a GWG, Propsal essentially told Torts to stick the GWG "up his butt" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgfShDZ3f...

That was after he had gotten "demoted" to a lower line. I can't be sure that's who he was talking about, but I don't see who else it could have been.  Now that Torts is gone, maybe he'd be happy to be back in Tampa.  Why they didn't wait till July 1st to pursue him and save the draft pick is beyond me, maybe they have a deal already worked out of something.

  4. noah, that is a very poorly drawn middle finger and i doubt vinny will stay in TB

  5. Didn't Vinny play in Anaheim too?

Tampa better workout a contract with him since they now have him back and not let him go easly.  Unless they decide to trade him again but for who?

Actually I could see him as a good fit in Phoenix for the Power play, maybe trade him for Mike York?

  6. i thought he was a good fit with the flyers and would wanna stay long... obviously i was wrong lol

  7. I saw this coming all along (Prospal returning). You have to remember that a few players of the last few years have returned to their original teams after a "loaner trade" has happened the year before. This could have actually been agreed upon when they trade originally happened. Stamkos needs a good winger to play with. This will give Tampa 2 good scoring lines if they can get him signed. Now all they need is a few good Defenseman and they are a playoff team once again.

  8. hoyl! why couldn't Bondra have done this with my caps =(
