Hi Im 14 And Have 4 Wobbly Teeth ((Baby)). They Are Really Annoying. One Canine Is Turning Black ((Don't Worry Thats Wobbly As Well)) And I Was Getting Quite Worried. That Was The Night Where I Was Watching A Film And Didnt Brush My Teeth. I Normally Brush My Teeth Twice A Day. The Next Morning The Tooth Became Black ((A Quarter Of The Tooth)) As I Have Been Brushing My Teeth Twice A Day Again It Has Reduced Slightly. What Could It Have Been. Also The Wobbly Teeth Are So Annoying. I Want Them Out But Am Too Scared To Pull Them Out Or Other People To Pull Them Out. Please Anyone Help. If There Is A Dentist Who Is Goin To Answer This Then Please Give As Much Details As What I Could Do.

No Stupid Answers Please =]

  1. If, they're loose, they shouldn't be too painful to remove. My son had a molar removed recently and he said that it was no problem at all. You'll be numbed up and won't feel anything. And, then you'll just have to eat soft for a few days.

BTW, Typing Like This Is Very Hard To Read!

  2. The darkness was most likely blood that seeped into the now hollow tooth. It just means that its getting moved around enough to cause bleeding in the gum tissue. There is no root system holding it in, so it is open on the inside.

If you will get some Ora Gel liquid and put some on a Q tip, rub it all around the gum area and under the tooth if possible, that will help numb the tissue. Wait about a minute to let the medicine soak in. Take a tissue and just pull very quickly...it is over in seconds and may bleed some. Have cotton or tissue wad ready just in case.

  3. Not sure why it turned black just because of one night of not brushing. If you ate something that stained your teeth that is a possibility and the stain isn't going away on that tooth b/c you can't brush it hard because of the looseness.

Loose teeth are a natural thing and it will eventually fall out on it's own. There's nothing that you can really do about it other than stop thinking about it. It's not a great idea to pull a tooth too prematurely (as in getting a dentist to pull it) but if it is pretty loose and you can take it out with your fingers, it wouldn't hurt to get it out. It shouldn't hurt that much because most of the root and nerve should be absorbed by the time it is ready to come out.
