Wojciech Szczesny believes Arsenal have the right mindset to beat anyone – Premier League Update
Arsenal goal keeper and Polish international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wojciech-Szczesny-c36998 has gone on to state that he believes the Gunners have the mentality and the team spirit to go on and beat just about any team in the world at the moment.
Last night Arsenal played host to Marseille at the Emirates in the Champions League, but despite the team knowing that three points would have ensured them a spot in the knock out stage of the tournament, the team drew with the French side.
Despite that fact, Szczesny believes that the team have just what is required to be the best. When talking about the team and their mentality, Szczesny is quoted to have said: “The spirit within the team is very positive and we are very confident going into
every single game”
“We feel like we have what it takes to win every game and I am sure we can keep it going.
“I would have preferred a 1-0 win. But if you told me beforehand that we would get four points from the two games against Marseille and not concede I would have taken it. I'm pleased with the result.
“It's always difficult in the Champions League because you have to play against top, top opponents but I am confident we can keep our form going and get the results to qualify for the next stage.”
Szczesny has proven to be a blessing in disguise for the Gunners, ever since he went on to make his first appearance for the team. The keeper has almost always been the player responsible for keeping Arsenal in games, despite the team falling apart all around
him.
Even when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 went on to concede eight goals to Manchester United, the keeper was not at fault for any of the goals the team conceded.
All in all the Gunners seem to finally have gotten rid of all their goal keeping concerns since the emergence of Szczesny as a first team regular. Considering the fact that he is still only twenty one years old, he still has numerous seasons in him and this
is going to help Arsenal develop him into one of the best keepers in the world.
