I had all for of my wisdom teeth taken out on wednesday. I was put out by iv but i can almost swear i woke up in the middle and i heard something like dont move, then i went back to sleep. Is it even possible to do this? Or was it a weird short dream? I will ask when i go back for my following check up thing, but i really am just curious!

  1. wow that is really creapy. I was afraid that was going to happen to me when I got mine out a couple of days ago. That is called Anestesia Awareness. (Not sure on spelling).

  2. It's possible to wake up. But more likely, you probably woke up just after they were done and thought they were still in the middle of it. then you probably fell back asleep. anesthesia can do weird things to you! A similar thing happened to me after a different type of surgery

  3. This is possible. They woke me up briefly during my surgery, because my mouth is small and I needed to move my jaw for the surgeon.

I think what could have happened to you is that you woke up right after you were put under. It may have seemed like it was in the middle, but I think it was at the beginning when you weren't completely under yet.

  4. WHAT ARE YEW TRYNA SAY??

    LIKE A WISDOM TEETH GREW?/

  5. My daughter recently had two impacted wisdom teeth removed but she chose to stay awake for the procedure. She said she was afraid of being put to sleep. She was given novocaine and laughing gas.
