Hi there,
I have an older model Wolf stove and I love it! When I use the oven though the ignition part tends to make a "tic tic tic" noise for a very long time, even after the oven has reached it's desired temperature. Is that normal? The stove top rings make that "tic tic tic" noise only when igniting initially then the ignition noise stops once the flame has caught.
To make sure that the stove was safe, I had a repair tech. come to my house, he glanced at it, listened to it, and he said that it was normal. That cost me $165 but I have used a lot of stoves over the years and this noise just does not seem right. It clunks off occasionally but it's hard to tell why since it does not appear to by synchronous with the desired temp. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rosaleen
