Wolfsburg midfielder Diego has insisted that he wants a move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid in this summer’s transfer window. According to the player’s agent Djair da Cunha, the Brazilian wants to leave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 and is seriously
considering a transfer to the Madrid outfit.
The controversial midfielder had fallen out with manager Felix Magath at the end of the last season and stormed out of the team hotel after he was not named in the starting eleven. He has since expressed that he does not want to
play under Magath and wants a move out.
Cunha stated that Atletico surely want a player like Diego in their line up for the next season. He claimed that the Brazilian will definitely fit in manager Gregorio Manzano’s style of play and add to the attacking instinct of
the side.
Atletico have recently received a heavy blow with the departure of Argentinean striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero to Manchester City and are looking for potential replacements in the transfer market.
