Wolfsburg have shown interest in signing Schalke’s left-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Pander-c9111. The former Schalke manager, Felix Magath, who is managing Wolfsburg currently, reportedly wants the player to strengthen his team for the next season.
Schalke signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166’s full-back Christian Fuchs in a four-year deal earlier this week which has further fuelled the rumours of a possible transfer. Pander could be on his way out after spending almost 18 months on the treatment table due to a knee injury.
The player would surely not be guaranteed regular first team football in the presence of Christian Fuchs, so a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Réunion-c2989 with Magath could be on the cards. The defender had refused to sign a long-term deal to stay at Veltins-Arena but Magath was sacked as
Schalke coach and the deal stalled.
“I had as good as agreed a contract extension with Felix Magath but then came the change of coach, which got in the way,” he was quoted as saying.
The Wolves are in search of a left-back in this summer’s transfer window and had also attempted to sign Hamburg’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marcell-Jansen-c23544 but the player chose to stay.
Hoger closes in on Veltins-Arena switch
Schalke have reached an agreement with 2.Bundesliga side Alemannia Aachen for the capture of midfielder, Marco Hoger. The deal is estimated to be of worth 1.2 million pounds which will see the player sign a four-year deal.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royal-95-c40387 Blues’ General manager Horst Heldt confirmed the news and claimed that the club will sign the player and the personal terms have already been agreed upon. He also admitted that a transfer between the two clubs has also been agreed and midfielder
is now a Schalke player.
"We are going to sign Marco Hoger. We agreed personal terms with the player some time ago. We have now also agreed a transfer with Alemannia Aachen,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Schalke continue to spend in the transfer window after a poor season which saw them finish 14th in the German League. The club have already acquired http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Fuchs-c9078 from FSV Mainz in a 4 million Euro deal.
