Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Matt Jarvis wants England call-up – Premier League News
Wolverhampton Wanderers winger, Matt Jarvis has gone on to admit that he is looking to become a permanent part of the England international team and also hopes to secure a starting roll at his club.
The forward has gone on to represent his country on one occasion, when he took to the field to play against Ghana. However, following the game, he was dropped from the England squad and for some odd reason he has since found it quite hard to secure a starting
role for Wolves.
When talking about the after effects of playing against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ghana-c2905 and how his life changed, Jarvis is quoted to have said: "It was hard coming back from my first cap, trying to recreate my form. People were targeting me and I needed to try to take it as a compliment
and try to counter that by changing my game.”
He then went on to admit that people probably looked at him as a much more serious threat, considering his call-up and as a result, he was man marked much more and was pushed almost every time he took to the field.
"Just because I'd played for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 people might have thought of me as one of those big scalps and say 'He's not getting past me today'. Possibly I was more of a marked man.”
Jarvis then ended by admitting that he would love to be recalled to the national side and hopes to do so in the near future.
"I'd have loved to have been back in the England squad but you have to earn the right and if I can keep playing well hopefully I can get back."
Jarvis made his debut for Wolves in 2007 and has since then gone on to make a hundred and twenty six appearances for the team. Despite having scored only thirteen goals for the team, the player has gone on to pick up a number of assists along the way and
seems to be improving significantly, as he progresses in his career.
Jarvis started of the current season with a bang and even went on to find the back of the net this past weekend for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952. Due to his fine form, Wolves picked up another win and seem to have started the current season with a bang.
Should Jarvis continue to impress every time he takes to the field with Wolves, he is more than likely to earn himself an England call up in the near future.
