Wolves striker Kevin Doyle wants to stay at the Molineux – Premier League Update
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Doyle-c20719 has gone on to dismiss any and all rumours linking him with a move away from the club, as he has gone on to state that his plan is to stay with Wolves and prove his worth, by helping the team do the best that
they can.
The player who is said to be worth around seven million pounds is reported to have caught the eyes of Juventus and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, but with the transfer window nearing a close, the forward has gone on to ward of those potential suitors.
When talking about being linked to two of the top teams in the world, Doyle is reported to have said: “It didn’t put me off at all – it was funny. It was better being linked with those teams, I suppose.
“I will just get on with things. The manager and the lads have a laugh at me.”
It seems like Doyle, despite being in the prime of his career, is more than happy to stick around with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 and help the team progress. It seems like a rather generous act from the forward to do so, since he is practically sacrificing his future to do
so.
Mick McCarthy, feels that is it important for the club to keep a hold of its top players and as a result, wants Doyle to stick around for as long as possible.
The manager seemed to be delighted with Doyle’s performance against Fulham this past weekend, as the forward went on to score the goal, that gave the team the perfect boost to go on and pick up all three points from the game.
McCarthy, when talking about Doyle and his performance during the game is quoted to have said: “It was an awesome performance from Doyle. “
“They led from the front and worked the defence really hard. And Doyle deserved his goal from a fabulous performance.”
“He carved the first opening for himself and a couple of the lads might have been complaining he didn’t lay it off, but I thought he was right to have the shot.”
Wolves have gone on to start the current Premier league season with a bang. The team has managed to win their opening two fixtures and are currently tied on points with the league leaders. Should the team manage to keep up the form that they are in, then
they could go on to surprise just about everyone by the end of the season.
