Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to take on Tottenham Hotspur this weekend as part of both the teams scheduled Premier League clash.
Going into the game, Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is well aware of the fact that one player who the team will really have to look out for is Gareth Bale. However, despite that fact, the manager has insisted that the team will not focus all their efforts in trying to contain Bale.
Despite Tottenham starting the season of at the bottom of the barrel, Bale has been half decent for the team. The PFA Player of the Year was in impressive form when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and despite England coming out on top, Bale was hailed for his impressive display during the game.
When talking about the upcoming game against Tottenham and his options of man marking Bale, McCarthy is quoted to have said: "Finding someone as quick as him will be hard enough!"
"I will have a look at their game and we will be putting our plan into action.
"Bale does need considering, of course he does. He is a good player. He's quick.
"I am not saying he is unplayable, I don't think anybody is unplayable.”
The manager then admitted that in order for his side to come out on top at the end of the night, they would have to put in a brilliant team performance, as opposed to looking for one or two players to individually change the shape of the game.
"It will be our collective force, our team, not any one player. If we get something or win the game it will be a team performance like it has been the last four games - and not by making any special plans."
McCarthy then went on to admit that with Tottenham currently struggling to pick up their form, it would be better if Wolves tried to contain the team, instead of letting them get back to their free flowing football.
The manager is certain that Tottenham have a far superior team when compared to Wolves and for that reason he is looking to kicking the team while it is down, instead of letting it get back up.
Despite McCarthy looking for his entire squad to put in a brilliant performance, the manager should be well aware of the fact that the performances of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Doyle-c20719 and Matt Jarvis are going to be crucial to the side getting anything out of the game.
