Currently Women constitute the majority of post-secondary students. Does this signal that we now have gender equality in education? Explain.

  1. Women migh have gender equality in education, but this does not mean that they have gender equality in the work place....No matter the degree of their education.


  2. It might matter what the area of post-secondary study is. There are still far less women in engineering and 'hard' science courses. Numbers mean nothing.

  3. Just because the majority may be women, it does not mean gender equality in education is accoplished when women are not equally represented in the mathematic, engineering,  and scientific studies. Majority of women are studying to get into professions that are female dominated and usually those professions pay little.
