Question:

Women, Before You Marry

Do you look into your fiance's background? I mean how he was raised, whether there was violence in the home, is the family a loving family, and so forth?

Or do you just ignore this and get married?

  1. You sort of just find out along the term of your relationship.  It's definitely important to know, because sometimes (not always), it can determine how they may be as husband's or father's.

  2. Of course!  It was a prime consideration.  How he was raised primarily determines how he wants to raise his kids.  And it has been proven time and again that violence in a home is a cycle.

For me, I don't have much of a family.  My sister is so much older than me that I was virtually an only child.  So it was just my dad and me.  My entire family can get together for Thanksgiving at anyone's house. And no one is in my generation.  I wanted a big loving family to marry into.  It was very important to me.

Of course you look at all that.  Anyone who doesn't ends up divorced or unhappy.
