I honestly didn't know that women were mean about curly hair, but whom ever criticized, laughed or made funny faces to you then , sorry ladies but you are air heads,closed minded, and last but certainly not t least..look at yourselves in the mirror and 100% guaranteed that you  all are way to far from perfection and for the curly hair person, zillions of women pay such high prices for a perm, and most of the time it looks awful on them, why because they don't have natural curly hair.Smile, Curly hair is lovely and you have it!

I don't think I've ever been mean to a guy with curly hair.  Why would people be mean about something like that?  It sounds like a very immature thing to do!  I've had a few partners with curly hair.  But to be honest it's not something I have an opinion about.  Some people have curly hair and some have straight hair.  What's the big deal?

I have no clue what you're talking about. The person I'm dating has curly hair.

If I had to take a stab at it though, I'd say that it might have something to do with looking young. Curly hair makes a person look younger, and some women (those who are ignorant) might equate youth with a lack of virility, and consequently, a lack of s*x drive. which is ridiculous.

HOWEVER, I'm more inclined to believe that some people are just mean and will find any excuse to be mean to another person.

That is absurd!  Why would women be mean to you just because your hair is curly?  Perhaps some women are attracted to men with red hair but not all women are.  Regardless, most women would not treat a man differently solely on the type of hair he has.  =P

I actually do like curly hair. I had a boyfriend in high school who had curly red hair, and I used to like to twist it around my fingers. And I absolutely LOVE red hair! I would almost say I have a red hair fetish. Just look at my avatar! Curly red hair!

well, I'm definitely not mean to curly guy because my guy has beautiful curly hair, but of course he keeps it neat. I'm not a big fan of messy untamed curly hair just as much as I don't like messy and untamed straight hair.
