Some men act nice to you no matter how you look and they're really nice and respectful.

But from my experience there are quite a few guys will act really nice and friendly to you when you dress better and look nice like this:

but act just average and not as eager and warm, when you are not sloppy or dirty, but you are not looking your best: http://www.emmyrossumfan.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=482&pos=1

  1. They will respect and pay more attention to a woman if they take care of themselves. My man had the choice between a few women and he choose me and told me it was because I took care of myself and cared about how I looked, dressed well and smelled good. He said he would not want to be with someone who did not take pride in their appearance. Plus when you look your best you feel your best.

  2. I only leave the house in hackaround clothes when I'm going to the convenience store or taking my brother to a nearby playground. But I don't think the guys I know would treat me any differently for reasons like that. They know me too well.

  3. Sometimes, but it's not something I care about.

  4. Everyone (men and women) treat those who take of themselves better than those who do not.

  5. The first meeting always seems to live up to the saying the more you show the further you go.

  6. Yes. Pretty much.

But I think if you are nicely dressed, then you're just more approachable anyway. I feel different when I'm nicely put-together rather than when I'm not looking my best. And this is when I leave the house, before I've met anyone. Not looking my best probably makes me act different... less confident, less likely to smile.

And I think too that looking nice indicates interest, sometimes as in telling the guys, I'm possibly interested in you, but other times, just general interest at your surroundings, how you're presenting yourself. Dressing less well denotes less interest in all of that.
