  1. Nothing: other people's s*x lives are none of my business.  And I agree with the poster above who observed that this demeaning label is misogynist.

  2. having multiple partners and not using protection.

  3. I hate that word. I really do. It's a nasty word.

Generally what would make that word come to mind is a woman who doesn't care for herself, her health and her safety when she sleeps with scores of men for conquests. But then I take a bit of pity on women like that, because they are looking for some type of happiness that they cannot find. They are looking for someone to care about them, but use s*x for the wrong reasons. For that, I prefer the term promiscuous.

s**t and w***e are just nasty words.

  4. I don't believe in calling anyone a s-l-u-t. Assuming that both parties are consenting adults who are getting their STD screenings routinely, it doesn't matter what reason they give for sleeping with someone. Whether it's for fun, or for love, or for both, it doesn't matter. There's no reason anyone should be called such a nasty term. The implication of this word is that a woman (and now a man even) is dirty or ruined because they've had too much s*x, which is bullshit. In one fowl swoop this word denies the woman (and again, men too now) their right to be sexual beings and in control of their s*x lives. There are a few exceptions where it "does matter", but even then I don't believe in calling those people s-l-u-t-s. I have a few  other choice derogatory terms for them though ^.^

    1. I don't think sleeping with someone married/taken makes you a s-l-u-t; it makes you and said married/taken person pathetic, inconsiderate a-s-s-h-o-l-e-s (unless both people in the marriage have agreed to have an open relationship, in which case it is mutually agreed upon to have multiple partners and as long as nobody is getting STDs or having their feelings hurt, whatever!)

    2. People who have s*x with children. This goes back to the whole issue of consent, and absence of consent is never acceptable in my book. But even when there is consent...the whole 15 year-old dating a 25 year-old thing never sat well with me. Even if the girl is OK with it (or young man in a lot of situations with the teachers and their students now), something about adults going after young teenagers seemed predatory to me. I had men in their early 20's hitting on me when I was 12 even, but I was aware of the predatory nature of the situation and knew that said men thought I was gullible and easy which is why they were hitting on me in the first place.

    3. People who have s*x with animals. Again, the animal can't give verbal consent, so to me it's abuse.

    4. Incest. I saw a documentary on the BBC about a father who married his daughter and had two children with her, and while they both seemed happy with the situation, it skeeved me out. Big time. Especially bringing children into the whole thing. So wrong.

But again, I wouldn't call any of them s-l-u-t-s. I would call them creepers or sick f*cks in extreme situations, but not s-l-u-t-s.

  5. I just think it's a woman acting like a man.  I call a lot of people one and then I smile... because I am being playful.  =]]

  6. The only times I would ever call a woman a s**t is if she slept with any man that wants to sleep with her or gives her attention, meaning she has no discretion for whom she chooses to sleep with.

Also I would call a woman a s**t if she sleeps with people for the wrong reasons ,like sleeping with someone for any other reason than your own pleasure. For example, sleeping around because you want to me liked, or popular.

  7. The term s**t denotes sexist and hateful regard towards women, so never.

The way you've worded this question is incredibly revealing, btw.

  8. Someone, female or male who thinks its all fun and games to go out every weekend and sleep with people they dont know. Someone who is careless about s*x and treats it like a game. Someone who uses s*x to get what he/ she wants. ect.

  9. Its you who is trying to put a definition on s**t.   I for one don't think s***s have a gender.

  10. I think s**t is a good word. I never use it in a derogatory sense. If another woman is annoying me, i will use proper language to describe what is making me feel annoyed.

I am a s**t because im sexually free and i don't feel ashamed about it! Yay for s***s!

By the way, how can anyone assume to know the reasons one person has s*x? It doesn't matter the reason. Would you care why they ate chocolate? NO. So why care about things that don't really matter.

Ssssss   llllllll    uuuuuu   tttt. It can be a s**y word and i don't think people should get so huffy about it!

  11. I'm not a woman, but I wish to participate. The word, " S l u t ", actually does have merit. S l u t , is someone (man or woman) who will have s*x with anyone, any easy target, doesn't matter how low or pitiful or desperate the person they choose to sleep with is. If a woman sleeps with tons for quality guys, she is not a s l u t  because she is putting effort into who she sleeps with, and picking people who gives her a challenge when trying to sleep with them. She would be a s l u t if she slept with tons of very terrible men (or women if she's bi/les) who would sleep with anyone. There is no challenge because these men are so desperate for s*x with anyone that they'll have any woman that will come by. This again applies to both men and women.

  12. I only would apply the term s lut to those (female OR male) who has no standards what-so-ever when having s*x.  In other words, having s*x with anyone and anything.  He or she who lacks standards and will sleep with anything that moves is a s lut in my book.  This is NOT just a term for women, however, but can be used for men as well.

I personally don't think it matters how many one has slept with-- it matters how you chose your partners and the reasons you slept with them.  For example, I personally don't agree with sleeping with someone for self validation and I really don't agree with sleeping with someone who is married.  One who sleeps with married people is also a s lut (be they male or female).
