The guy's always the beer-loving horny hick, the woman always the intelligent grown up.

I think she was being funny, not serious. If she was being serious, then yes it's prejudiced. I hope you make as much fuss about anti-female jokes, otherwise you're being two-faced

(I mostly don't mind them, actually. I certainly don't get upset over them)

I find that to be a quote from a celebrity that people read way too much into.

I also wonder this - would it make a difference if she left out that first part? Because from what we gals are always told, the latter half of her statement is true.

you are right, it is sexist against men. Unfortunately jokes against the dominant group seem to be accepted (or at least, not as criticized) in society

Well this does apply to men whose pride and ego and most of their drive and reasoning is from the second head. I'm very analytical and proud about many other non-s*x related assets, so I analyze intentions and if I get the thought that the woman's accesorizing and use of s*x appeal is to manipulate me, I'm donw with her that very second, no ifs or buts. Well men being very visual creatures is quite true, but isn't she assuming a lot as far as physical attractiveness? You make think you are attractive or may be to others, but not good looking to other people as well. And it depends on how attractive she is as well.

Certainly there are always men  who will be worked up even if the woman is ugly, but the one's that she might try to focus on might not be the other ugly average guys but the good looking ones, who don't give her much attention and focus on the more beautiful one's instead. And naturally it depends on attractiveness or how attractive she is in how many men are manipulated or how easily they are as well.
