Well that'd never happen to me because I'm keeping my last name forever, but if it still did...

1. check who it's from and email them to call me by name

2. rip it up

  1. I wouldn't care.

Would just open the letter and read it.  Why worry about the little things?

I can understand your point of view.  Guess it's up to the individual on how they feel. :)

When hubby & I married, I took his last name with honour, like when our sons took his surname when they were born.  I still have my own identity though/am my own person, a name doesn't change what I am.

Edit- I don't like my maiden name as it reminds me of the person who abused me, so didn't want that name to be continued.  I've no ties to my parents anymore.

If I hadn't been married, I would've changed my name anyway.

  2. Yes it is. Many women keep their own name if they marry, some double barrel it, so keep their name and their husbands. You would have to double barrel your children's names too or it would get too confusing.

  3. The sad thing is when my husband addressed to Mr R. A. Muniz. I am the R.A. in the family. I am the wife my name is Royce Ann

  4. It wouldn't be first-class mail because I never took his name.  I'd just toss it.

  5. I would deal with it like any other piece of mail.  Life is too short to get hung up on the minutiae.

  6. In all likelihood, it would be junk mail, since I don't instead to take anyone's last name but mine or become "Mrs."

  7. Id yell to my husband..

" Honey its for you! It says to * snicker snicker giggle* to MISSES BOB SMITH!..hehehehehehe"

and then i would feel him up to see if he had grown boobies...

some situations do not have to be taken so seriously...

  8. I would pitch it, because it would probably be junk mail. Anything I sign up for is in the name Ms. Meagan Blake, not Mrs. Meagan Blake or Mrs. William Blake.

  9. I'd throw it out-not anyone I'd want to deal with!

  10. I would think it came from someone who is from an older generation, and not be offended at all.

  11. Well, if I were Mrs. Bob Smith, I'd open it.  If I wasn't, I'd give it back to the postmaster.

  12. Junk mail, I would toss it in the recycle bag.

  13. It doesn't personally bother me. I took my husbands last name because it's simple, easy to remember and spell and much better than mine. I also took it because as a married couple I wanted us both to have the same last name and as I stated previously I hated my maiden name.

While it may be important to others, it's a trivial matter to me.
