YES!  I just married a 37 year old virgin.  We both waited and it was awesome and amazing to give each other that gift.  Sounds like yours is not from religious conviction though.  Still, I think the right girl would see that as an asset.  I wouldn't blurt it out on the first date but wait until you got to know each other.
