Netherlands Women crushed Scotland Women by a handsome margin of 55 runs in a game of Women's European Twenty20 Championship, held at Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd, Utrecht, Netherlands on Monday August 15, 2011.
Although, there were some clouds flying around in air, the wicket was fantastic for batting. Therefore, the Dutch captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Helmien-W-Rambaldo-c62196, decided to go for the batting first, expecting her batters to do the trick for side.
Yet, the beginning went totally against her anticipations, as the home side lost its first wicket in the second over of the innings. The captain, Rambaldo, herself was the first lady to leave the crease after adding just six runs to the total. Following

The Scottish pacer, Kathryn White, bowled her out with a beautiful in-dipper. The tourist did not relax after grabbing two early wickets, as White did strike once again, knocking Violet Wattenberg’s stumps down in the fifth over.
Three down for 24, the situation was almost out of control of the home side, as the Scottish pacewomens were on fire, swinging the ball in the air and off the pitch as well.
However, the middle-order showed a little resistance, as Caroline and Salomons and Esther Lanser put together 30 runs for the fourth-wicket-stand. Salomons got out after collecting 12 but Lanser continued the good work and top-scored the innings by smashing
a thrilling 32-run-knock.
Although, it was not an impressive show by the Dutch side, 25 extras helped the side reach 104 for the loss of nine wickets at the end of 20 overs. From Scotland’s bowling department, White, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Wilkinson-c96633 bagged a couple of wickets

In reply, the Scottish side displayed a dismal performance and the whole line-up seemed like a house of card in front of fantastic bowling by the Dutch women. Along with playing reckless strokes, the Scottish ladies were also ordinary in running between
the wickets, as five of Scotland batters ran themselves out.
Moreover, the Dutch bowlers maintained a flawless line and length throughout the innings, not letting the Dutch ladies play freely. As a result, the whole batting side collapsed on paltry 49, suffering a humiliating 55-run-defeat.
As none of the Scottish batter got successful in reaching the double figures, Aitken and Kasperek emerged the highest run-getters, scoring only nine runs each.
The Dutch females were extra-ordinary in their bowling effort, as Rambaldo claimed two wickets while Lanser http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jolet-Caroline-Hartenhof-c69066 and Leonie Bennett left the field with under scalp under their belt.
