Is it golf appropriate to wear sleeveless golf shirts while golfing? I have been online looking and there sems to be a lot of sleeveless golf shirts out there. For some reason I thought that it was inappropriate unless it has changed and has become more a norm for women (which I hope it has). Thanks.

  1. You sure could, provided it is not the spaghetti strips.  A collar and 2-3 buttons would also be required on your nicer cousres, it should definitely be a Polo style short, not something you would wear to a club, and you would be fine!

  2. I would much prefer shirtless sleeves, depending on who's wear them

  3. Yes, they are appropriate to wear.

  4. Yes here in the South in the summer that's what most of them wear because it's so hot.  But some courses require collars, and all but the cheapest municipal courses won't let you wear spaghetti straps.  Generally, the fancier courses require stricter dress codes, while the really cheap munis will let you get away with anything, I've played at both ends before.  If the shirt is made for golfing you shouldn't have a problem.

  5. Sleeveless shirts are OK

Depending upon your golf course you can wear sleeveless shirts however some courses require collared shirts. It doesn’t have to be a polo, but it MUST have a collar. I say if it's sleeveless and has a collar, it's perfect for me.

Golf fashion has changed a lot… Adidas has nice ladies golf wear. They have nice skorts and I love there sleeveless yet collard tops.

  6. It's fine.  Most sleeveless shirts for females have collars so that will work.
