Women's shelters on Long Island?

I am looking for women's shelters on Long Island to donate clothing to. Since most of the clothing is womens, I would think this is the place that they would be needed most, but if anyone has any other suggestions, I would be glad to hear them.

Call your local YWCA.  The majority of them have women's crisis centers or they can point you in the right direction.  If there are none in the area, call the chamber of commerce and someone there should be able to assist you.
