Women's water polo?

Question

okk well water polo really seems like fun to me. i really like being in the water but i don't like swimming (like on a team). i don't really mind swimming laps and a bunch of my friends are doing it. i swam for 2 years, but i wasn't very good. can i still play waterpolo in my first year of high school without ever playing it our without being a swimmer??

oh, and if you play it- do you like it??

You can totally play water polo as a freshman, that's when most people start.  But you have to be a pretty good swimmer though, unless you play goalie.

I played when I was in high school.  It's a lot of fun.

I started playing water polo even though I was never a swimmer...  Water polo is an awesome sport and if you want to you should do it.
