Women Bodybuilding excluded from NPC and IFBB events – Bodybuilding news
Women’s bodybuilding started in 1970 when females also started taking part in the competent bodybuilding competitions.
Since then, the sport has been going on and many female athletes have been doing it by putting in a lot of hard work.
Previously in the year 2000, IFBB changed the rules for women bodybuilding and said that the Ms. Olympia event is no more going to be held separately. They also added that the females are going to be judged according to their symmetry, separations,
presentation and muscularity “which should not be to the extreme.”
Later on in the year 2005 it was said that the weight system they adopted in the 2000 is going to be abolished and all female bodybuilders were said to reduce their muscularity by 20 percent.
But now there is a news which says that there has been a thread posted recently on the Muscular Development Forum which states that according to undocumented sources, the NPC has eliminated female bodybuilding and is replacing it with Women’s Physique
in 2012, but still it has to be proved completely.
We all know that there are many pro and amateur females bodybuilders who have been practicing for the last so many years and have almost lost all of their feminine looks in order to keep up the muscles with the use of development drugs.
They have tried hard to keep the sport alive for them even when they are paid very little as compared to the male bodybuilders.
The Women Physique division has brought a change in the past few years as the muscular female bodybuilders and some of the best-conditioned athletes are being replaced by the soft ones with good figure, reason being that the female bodybuilders lose
their feminine touch. This has forced many female bodybuilders to change their diet plan completely. In the industry, many athletes also do not like the looks of female bodybuilders.
The New York Pro’s upcoming event set for the May 28, 2011 is also not including female bodybuilding in it which certainly is not happy news for many. Rather they have introduced Pro Figure but Female Bodybuilding is nowhere.
Female bodybuilders have been training hard for the sport which is minimising female bodybuilders slowly and in some cases almost completely.
This sport has to be backed up by the other athletes otherwise there would be a time when we will only have to read about all this in the magazines.
