Depends on how old you are. I think as an adult it's a good idea to go check just to catch cancers and other diseases early.

Well depending on your age. Since you are a virgin, just go to your regular physician and get a pap smear. That way they are able to detect if there are any problems. The only real reason you should see an OBGYN is if you are pregnant or you are having bigger problems with your cycle. Plus your regular physician should be able to deal with everything that is going on.
