Ok speaking generally here. If a woman breaks the barrier by touching the guy she's interested in (around the chest area), does that show enourmous interest?

I would say it shows that she's interested. Most people don't make physical or emotional contact with another being unless their is some interest in the person involved. It's more than likely her way of flirting.

Sounds as though she was attempting to LOVE YOU UP. I hope you moved her hands away!!  Just think, if that would have been you doing that to her you could have very easily been arrested.

Depending on the nature of the woman, yes.

If the woman is generally introverted, she would not normally try to do so (even if she was keenly interested). So this usually implies that the woman is in some way not in her usual state of mind (Giddy, intoxicated, etc.) Either that or she feels depressed and feels the need to reach for someone, or she is in post depression, where the gesture would show a measure of physical attraction, but if  the man acts on this (to the point of s*x), she'll probably see it as a mistake on her part.

If the woman was extroverted, it's much simpler. This either is a thing she considers normal to all men she meets, and is not necessarily romantically interested in, but finds the man attractive. Or she is extremely confident, and IS very interested to make such a gesture.

Eh, this is tough..b/c SOME girls do it only for attention or just to see how much power they have over you (seeing if you can get turned on or not).

Otherwise, some girls do really do that b/c they like you and are wanting to make a move on you.
