Women: Over the past 25 years, what cultural forces are responsible for the surge in female disdain for men?

No princessblasé, you make the flawed assumption that my observations pertain only to my first-hand experiences.

I overhear women talking about their husbands. I see schoolgirls publicly berate their boyfriends. I see it on TV. And, surprise surprise - I see it in the bulk of you answers here on YA.

This has hardly anything to do with my first-hand experiences.

So rather than dodge the question, howzabout a little candor and honest for a refreshing change, eh?

  1. Feminism without a doubt.

  2. Modern Feminism and liberal ideology.

If modern Feminists don't tell you the correct answer it's either that they selectively choose not to, or they're just not looking; they just don't wanna speak the truth.

  3. SEXIST special interest groups favoring females.

  4. not men just you

you make a generalisation  based on your own experience which you then apply to all men

  5. c**p I'm 21

  6. Are you gathering this opinion from observing the way women interact with you?  I think princessblase has a point... maybe it is just you.

I like a lot of men... I work with a lot of men... I went to school for broadcasting and work in a male dominated industry.  I don't hate men.

  7. 2nd and 3rd wave feminism.

Women have been taught that regardless of any disastrous personal decisions they make during the course of there lives, it is more convenient to blame the unfavorable experiences on men. Single mom? "A man abandoned me!" Career sucks? "Glass ceiling and wage gap!" Had s*x with a jerk? "He coerced me into it!" Have indiscriminate random s*x outside of a relationship? "Men only want one thing!"

Seems like most women today have "a reason" to hate men.
