Women - Urgent - Help?

Question

I've get to get two lots of washing done before my girlfriend arrives, she'll be here in two hours or less. I have a red t shirt with thin white stripes and several grey t shirts. Do these items go in a white wash or a dark wash?

Please answer soon, I have to start the washing more or less now.

Grey can go in white wash.

I'd avoid washing the red one as if its still new, the colour may run.

Greys in with white wash red in with colours. If anything goes wrong show her your question on here and she will think you're very sweet for asking and forgive you. Lol.

The gray with the whites is fine.  Turn the red shirt inside out and wash by itself or with darks, no jeans.  Once the red striped shirt has been washed a few times, turn it wrong side out and it can be washed with the whites.

hand wash the red shirt and the grey ones put in the machine! it will save u time!!

dont wash the red shirt with anything for its first wash, the colour may run. so do the grey shirts if they are dark grey on a dark wash or if light on a light wash!

Cold wash, wash red and grey separately. don't put them in the dryer, hang them out to dry or they might shrink

You should wash the red  t-shirt by itself on a cool water setting. Also, use a mild detergent such as Woolite so that it won't fade. Wash the gray ones together.

Wash the red n white seperatley. Greys together. Both on a quick cold wash, about half hour each.

wash one lot hand wash other! finish hand wash load into machine and finish with a spin .

cheats way to catch up quickly.  If you want brownie points though wash the bedding if there is room. Have a nice bubbly bath waiting for her and sneak of to finish any outstanding housework should give you at least an extra half hour lol

i find it strange you only have a hot wash most modern machines have lots of settings mine has quick wash (takes 30mins tops )

a 30 degree settting which is slightly longer than the quick

40 degree about an hr or so. etc

There is something wrong that your machine will only let you do a hot wash.  I would then, to be safe, wash the t-shirts by hand in some cool water with a little detergent and then put them in the machine to rinse and spin.
