Women: after youve been dating a guy for 6 months?

1. what are the things which let you know that you could marry him?

2. and what would be the things which would make you think that you couldnt marry him, besides cheating/lying?

besides cheating/lying?  these are biggies.

i'd also be looking at how he treats others, is he a man of his word, is he good with his money, does he pay attention to what you say, does he have a good job, is he good to his family, can you talk about important things, can you fight well together?

these are all things i'd look at.

1.  I would not consider marry any man BEFORE being together at least 18 months (1 1/2 years).  Then you can really know what they are like...my mother told me that and she was RIGHT.  I also think that young adults should not get married before they are 25 because they will go through many changes.

2.  I would not marry anyone that I was not 100% in love with; they refuse to get a job or help financially; have no credit of their own; mistreat or disrespect me or my child; or has a serious criminal background.  I think that covers it.

Number 1 would be the way he treats people.  If he treats me and others with respect, I could marry him, but many other things would matter too.  If the guy is cocky or keeps bragging about stupid stuff I don't care about, I wouldn't even give him the time of day, let alone marry him.

We would have to live together and have a shared bank account and the whole nine, so I could see how responsible he is with money and how he lives and takes care of himself.

i could marry the guy if we got along great and he was my friend as well as my man.things that would let me know i cant marry him ,since you said besides lying and cheating then i,d say if he had too many bad habits.
