Women and girls, how wide is the widest of your two thumbs?

My only student (I teach guitar) told me that my thumbs were narrow for a man and that they were closer to a women/girl size and I want to know if it’s true… A lot of answers are needed because I want to make an average… My widest thumb is 19mm (1.9cm) or 6/8 inch wide from the skin to the left of my nail to the skin at the right of my nail . Thank you all in advance 

What does that have to do with your ability to play guitar? That shouldn't affect anything. You're getting yourself all worked up over nothing.

Really now.  Mine (female 41) are less than an inch.  The husband's is a full inch.  Quit being worried and practice more.  The more you practice, the bigger and stronger they will be!
