In an article for the NY Times, a study was done that measured the amount of arousal of heterosexual women looking a images, showed that when women looked at pictures of naked men the didn't get turned on but when they were shown pictures of naked women doing the same thing, the women were significantly aroused and turned on by this. I would like some feedback on this. Are all women bisexual?

  1. Wow, did NY Times really have an article that said that? I think that some women are turned on by other women but not all women feel this way, I for one have a friend, whose innocence naivety is such an alluring thing, and it can be very seductive in itself. Too bad she fell in love with a dog! Tsk Tsk Tsk, when will she ever learn! Still no one can please me quite like a man! Especially if he has big..............................feet! =P

  2. Show the article, I know for a fact there are studies that show women are turned on by both naked men and women, while men are turned on by women.

I don't think all women would consider themselves bisexual, but it's a much larger percentage of the population than bisexual men. Bisexuality in women is pretty common and "normal"... I believe it has something to do with polygamous apes, so it's in their genes. I think bisexuality maybe caused by a different gene than homosexuality though, as homosexuality appears to be a common mutation while bisexuality in women is natural and usually undetectable thanks to a society which suppresses a lot of their true sexual urge.

  3. Its true and natural. Women were designed to be able to exist without men if need be. However, we're also naturally designed to not let this secret out to the men around us, since they'll most likely fly off in a fit of egotistical rage.

On a side note; Have you read that article that details how women have a hidden ability to produce our own sperm and impregnate ourselves? If not, research it! Its definitely a treat. =)

  4. Bisexual? No. I think women tend to enjoy the female figure more so than men enjoy the male figure. Why? Because it's acceptable for women but if men are caught checking eachother out and telling eachother than their butts look good in certain outfits, they're labeled as homosexuals. Double standards, my friend. Double standards.

EDIT- Voice of Reality is correct too.

  5. I admire a beautiful naked woman the way I would admire a great painting. I look at a beautiful naked man as a potential s*x partner (at least in my fantasies! lol) and much more of a turn on.

So, no, I don't think all women are bisexual; we just have more subtle/complicated responses to erotica.

  6. No but most women check each other out.

  7. I'm a woman and a nudist.  I am not bisexual and I've never been with a woman.  I do, however, feel a different level of arousal when looking at another naked woman than I do when looking at a naked man who is not my partner.  I think that women are aroused by other women for the same reasons that men are aroused by women.  Men are genetically programmed to seek out and instigate relationships.  For that reason they respond to beauty first, so women are "designed" to be beautiful.  Women then respond not to a mans looks (though they do play a part) but to his behavior--his manners, his character, his level of attention to the female.  That's why you often see guys with women and say "how the h**l did he get her?"  She doesn't care about how he looks so much as how he behaves.

So, like I said, women are designed to be physically attractive to men moreso then men are designed to be attractive to women.  Women are still attracted to beauty, nonetheless, so it isn't surprising that they are attracted to other women.

Society may have some part in it also.  First off, relationships between women are more commonly accepted than relationships between men.  Second, society leads women want to "look pretty," so we go out in our skimpy tops and short skirts with out b***s pushed up and our faces all made up to look attractive to men.  Yet we as women are also exposed to other women doing the same, so we begin to find attraction to the same characteristics.

  8. Women are designed to be pleasing in general.

Men are just pleasing to women.  Not sure what group of women they did their studies on, but a good looking naked man will make most any woman's panties moist.

  9. Edit to spikeit: What you said I don't believe is correct on many counts, but I don't feel like writing it all out why, unless you see my edit and want to see why I feel the way I do. And luckily most women I know don't see things your way too and find women pretty but men hot, which one would think men's physical attractive women and women not being attracted to this beauty of women, because if that was the case, most women would be lesbians or bisexual. But while women apprecaite women's beauty, many are indifferent to it, while fancying the cute guy here and there.

Certainly women looking more into non-physical things as you mentioned, but I think most women would be disheartened if men overall did not look good to women. What you described is also long term as well, as naturally women who want a strong relationship look for those things, but as you should know women in highschool or that have casual relationships  are with guys that at least find physically attractive. There is much more I could say, but I will stop now and see what you have to say.

  10. No - the woman's body is just prettier.

  11. No.

Just male fantasy on your part.....

BTW would you care to post the article or at least the author and date so we can read it for ourselves?
