Women claim that men NEEDS women, I‘ve vowed to remain celibate, so outside of s*x do we actually need women?

No its cool be whoever you want be, i have been celibate for 7 years now, women were more interested in the presents and material things than me.

Shame i wanted a family and love but every women i meet gives me the creeps, and i do get plenty but none are the one for me so i just get on with life.

Looking at the families and divorcees it sure takes it toll.

If you don't want kids or s*x, then a woman would be completely useless to you.

You can be friends with women, but they are often more high maintanence in friendships than men are. They need more emotional support and attention.

BUT, they can be very usefull in helping you get into night clubs. They also make better nurses than men IMO.. if you get sick. When I'm in the hospital, I prefer care from a woman.

Andy C, I was referring to Andrew M's post being radical concerning the view he has put across concerning the relationship between men and women - his content is immature. I did not actually mean to imply that he will want to have s*x in six months time, merely he could come up with another immature theory. The celibacy is an aside, I was referring more to his general stance on what we as citizens are here for.



On the serious level of celibacy, people have different reasons for selecting this option, not because they see the opposite s*x as redundant to them, but for many reasons. I think in most cases it just happens, rather then planned (e.g. religious people), and that's the state you become - celibate.



My phrase 'the beauty in life' is referring to positive aspects of life that men and women experience together. I was not actually referring to the act of s*x.  But since you have brought this up, I think that s*x is the ultimate expression between two people, as has been expressed on this forum. (I know that some can't have it for whatever reason, and have to make do.) Gosh, I was not meant to analyse this lol. Sleep tight. ~

If you have chosen celibacy as a way-of-life, that's fine, of course. Kinda sad though. The human touch is soothing to our souls and can be the ultimate expression of love. Makes me wonder why you've chosen to not have human contact but it's your comfort zone and I do understand.

Anyway, I've always felt that we all NEED one another, whether we're male or female, black or white, young or old, rich or poor. We need each other not just for s*x and procreation, but because we enjoy other people's company, input and for economic reasons. It all makes the world go round.

There are plenty of men who go their entire lives without ever having a girlfriend or getting laid.  They aren't very happy, but they survive. Humans are social & sexual creatures, and often benefit from the company of the opposite s*x.

LOL of course normal men need women. I have been around and in my youth did get carried away with notching the bed post. As a result I hit a point where self-loathing set in and I opted for celibacy for about 2 years. The worst thing about going so long is that you stop caring about doing without. It has a serious impact on libido. Fortunately that is no longer the case and I am married and usually happy with my choices.

I can give you a long list of why a man shouldn't marry but that doesnt change the fact that men do get married because ultimately one or two good reasons will outweigh all the bad.

It could be refering to stats that are 40 years old.

And its highly likely to be refering to people that got married around that 40 years ago if not further back. A lot has cahnged since then. Like divorce rates - for example.

Well, Andy, for two things I'd like to have a man around - s*x and companionship, you know, do fun stuff together and all.  I'm guessing it's similar for men.
