Women - do any of you see anything wrong with going completely bare down there?

I was talking to a friend a while back and telling her that I was going to try to get a wax for the first time (I usually just shave). She proceeded to interject her opinion that it is "gross" to be completely bare because it makes a woman look like a little girl, and guys who like that are perverted (aka pedophiles). I don't agree with her, but I was curious what you all thought? Are there any guys out there who agree with this opinion? I suspect most of them love the bare look.....

well girl,i asked some guy friends and they said they prefer bare or very trimmed.but that is not gross,i mean i get what she's saying,she means that she thinks it's gross because having hair down there shows you're a woman,but not all guys who like bare down there are pedophiles.but let me tell you,from a womans p.o.v,it's better because you'll feel cleaner,will have less of an odor,and when you monthly friend comes it's way less messy.it's your body,not hers no need to worry.she won't be seeing it

I like it. Easier to take care of, just feels a lot cleaner too. No worries about swimsuit season either lol.

Someone once told me that it was "unnatural"...but that person failed to notice that shaving her legs and underarms is also unnatural :P

Besides, how would a pedophile even know that you were shaved? It's not like (I'm assuming here...) you just go around telling people "Hey, I'm bare down there, wanna go out?" And pedophiles *only* go after kids, it doesn't have to do with the no hair thing. It's a mental illness that makes them go after kids, not bare parts.

I prefer to wax everything. I'm naturally very hairy and it grows fast so the less hair there is, the less I have to worry about. It helps prevent embarassing moments when I'm in my swimsuit and I have an easier time keeping clean "down there" (especially during that time of the month)

Oh and my boyfriend loves it...not that I do it for him. But its okay if he wants to think that I do it to keep him happy.

By the way...it is freakin painful so take some advil a half an hour before you get waxed.

It depends on the woman, in my opinion.  I think some of them look nice bare, some look weird.  For me, it isn't about how it looks anyway.  I like bareness because it makes oral pleasure easier to give.

Quite frankly it's all a matter of preference.  If you prefer complete shave there is nothing wrong with that. Personally, I find it to be a lot more sanitary. But that's my opinion.  As far as your friend is concerned, she couldn't be any more wrong (and narrow minded).
