  1. Yes. Voting is a personal issue. If one truly believes there is no best candidate, then to vote for one just because it is our right is rather missing the point in my view.

  2. I don't think this is a matter of gender, or an affront to those you mention.

It is a troubling sign to all of us that most people have no faith in the political system. The system has failed.

  3. I feel if one dose not vote then that person has no right to complain....women or not.

Women and the blacks banned together for the right to vote, if it were not for one then the other may not have had the right when they did.

  4. They suffered to give women the option to vote. it is your right do as you please.

  5. Women should vote but be careful not to vote for the Victorian party

  6. Not at all, I'm pretty sure that most women will vote for McCain/Palin, The white women anyway.

  7. No. You should vote and do your patriotic duty.

  8. I look at it this way. It's my right to vote. If I chose not to, then that's my right as well. I'm not going to vote if I don't know what I'm voting for. I'm not interested in politics therefore, I am not registered.

  9. Every (eligible) American should vote.  It has nothing to do with gender or other demographic.

There are countries all over the world persecuting their civilians.  Any one of those people would give their life to vote in a free choice election without tragic ramifications.

  10. I find it ironic that Seneca Falls started as a movement to get voting rights for women, yet ended up granting voting rights for more men.

  11. i never vote.

  12. No, I don't. How many women poured their sweat and tears into getting us that right and some ladies just fluff it off like it doesn't matter? It's pathetic how long we had to wait before we were deemed 'worthy' enough to vote.

Anne: A 'personal issue'? We're not talking about WHO you vote for rather your right to vote.

  13. Suffrage of people, be them woman or man, is essential to the democratic process. The fact that people suffered for suffrage (pun intended) is part of history and shouldn't deter anyone from voting. They fought for your right to vote,  so you should be thankful for it.
