Women in Olympic beach volley ball competitions?

Why do the women in the Olympic beach volley ball competitions look like their trying out for a centerfold for Playboy magazine? I was watching the competition and the camera continually focuses on the women adjusting their pants? swimsuit? bottoms?. The men's volley ball competitors wear baggy shorts and some type of T-shirt on when they play so it can't be because the women need freedom of movement. Understand, not that I mind. It draws in millions of viewers for the games who would otherwise be looking at "Women Gone Wild" videos.

The rules in beach volleyball actually have rules on what the women can wear and in those rules it state the maximum size their bikinis are allowed to be. I'm not sure who made those rules up but either way you can't blame the athletes for what they have to wear.

Actually they DO have to wear bikini's...it's in the rules...hence my original answer.  And there a limits on how big they can be.  Feel free to do 2 mins worth of research before you answer these questions but here's a link anyway if you want to take a look.

First of all John...there isn't a dress code in FIVA or the Olympics that outlaws bikini's. It is a choice that the players make but do to pressure from networks and tournament promotors I am sure they don't want them out there in baggy shorts and t-shirts.

Plus, it is called beach volleyball and so it is condusive to wear swim attire at the beach...!

There shapes aren't bad, but take a look at their faces.

And, they DO Not have to wear the small bikini bottoms that they do wear. They opt to. It draws the crowds..........seeing four women jumping around in the sand with the cheeks of their asses hanging out.

The camera shows that because it draws male viewers. I saw women playing court volleyball (I think it was the Argentinian womens court volleyball team), but one colored girl had a bikini bottom on with her jersey instead of shorts like the rest. The bikini does help an athlete move by not restricting their arms and legs. Also theyre beach volleyball players, theyre used to it and would look kinda silly in pants.

Heres a question, why do women gymnasts wear sparlkly tiny one-pieces? You can wear a little more without restriction. Look at the new swimmers outfits. Why dont the women wear the same as men in gymnastics?

Well maybe they just get sand in there pants and stuff cuz i mean they are always diving and guys dont really getagitatedd by sand so... maybe they are just un comfortable
