Women only please, why do I have pain?

I have pain in my pelvic area. Slightly more frequent urination, nothing too terrible though. Sometimes my back hurts too, not in any specific place. I went to the doctor a while ago and they said I had a trace of protein in my urine but that it was nothing to worry about. I also had a CBC done very recently and it came back ok. The pain is generally in the middle or on a side, and is not excruciating but i definitely notice it. I just had a pelvic exam. I am a virgin so the exam was very painful. The doctor did not notice anything wrong. Does anyone know what this might be? I am scared. Oh, and I'm on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo to give me a regular period.

  1. maybe you need to just drink more water or cranberry juce you may be a little dehydrated

  2. it sounds like a bladder infection, or the start of a kidney infection.. will go away with a round of antibiotics... I had the same symptoms at the start of july, also with protein in urine..  See your Doc, but dont worry!
