My friend and I ARE curious about the flow of our menstrual cycle. The question is if we bleed heavy one cycle, does that mean we produced alot of eggs? And if we have a very light cycle the, do that mean we only produced one egg? I hope I am making myself clear. We just want to know why some months our cycles are heavy and other months light?

Your body only releases ONE egg per menstrual cycle. It alternates which ovary it comes from. Some cycles are just different, your body's functions are not perfectly consistent all the time. If yours aren't heavy all the time, consider yourself lucky!
