Women please help me I'm scared ?

I have a really strange problem going on and I have no idea what it could be.

I'm 17 years old, I've never had s*x (including oral or otherwise). But there is the strangest thing happening. My vagana keeps discharging old blood. (At least I think that's what it is since it's brown).

I'm not in any pain at all but it's really getting on my nerves. Is it possible I have an std (I found you don't have to have s*x to get some of them). I'm really scard. Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you on a birth control pill? It sounds like you have a bit of spotting or break-through bleeding if this isn't during the week of your regular period. Near the beginning and the end of my period I get the same thing.

No you don't have an STD. Ignore the first answer. Everyone discharges old blood especially right before their period. It is normal

It's normal and not a big deal.  Especialy if you have messed up or irregular pieriods anyways.  I had this going on for three weeks in April!  Nothing to worry about.

There is another possibility.  Could you have an "old tampon" that you forgot was still way up there, string and all?  I've known some who've had this happen.
