What has changed in the Australian society due to women doing work in the wars? What can women do now?

  1. I don't understnad your question. Do you mean has society changed their views on women because they were also a part of the Iraq war? What do you mean what can women do now? I'll give them a pat on the back just as everyone else that served in the war. Women don't need special credit for doing a "guys" job. It's only a male dominated job when women keep on saying it is.

  3. Women showed that they were capable of doing what was traditionally thought of as "men's work" (i.e. anything not domestic duties). They had to do a lot of diffferent jobs during the war because the men were away fighting the war. Like work in factories, physical types of work, and so on.

    After the war, society recognised this and women were more able to get jobs they weren't able to do before the war.
