I'm just hoping to find out if there's any truth to this. What kind of exercise did you do throughout your pregnancy and did you notice an easier labor and birth ?

Thanks

  1. I exercised my butt off with the first and did nothing (but chase a toddler around) with my second.  Both labors were much the same.  Not a bit easier or anything.  Had a healthier baby with the one I exercised a lot with.

  2. I sat on my rear end and ate bonbons for most of my first pregnancy, and pushed my son out with three pushes in 15 minutes.  One of my friends worked out, ate very healthy, and did prenatal yoga and she ended up needing a C-section because her cervix wasn't dialating after being in labor for 2 days.

I think some women are just luckier than others when it comes time for delivery.

  3. I exercised with my 1st and my delivery was great :) . This time I am in much better shape and my abs were super tight before I got pregnant. I've had to stop training the past 2 weeks due to a minor complication but still have a lot of muscle tone. My Dr. said I will have a easy delivery and she's afraid my baby will come shooting out of me lol :) . I'm a weight lifter so that's all I did through this pregnancy and cardio as well :) which was cleard by my Dr.

  4. My sister in law went to the gym daily, and had a horrible labor. So I'd say there is no truth to this. I'd say it really depends on you and your body.
