  1. Just for the purpose of confusing guys. How much of what we do makes sense to you anyway?

  2. The same reason "shirt" is singular and "pants" is plural.

  3. Because pants, or pantaloons, were originally two separate pieces of cloth, one for each leg, whereas a bra was always just the one piece :-)

  4. Pants used to come in two pieces.  Each leg was separate, like hose.  They were like a long legging with a larger amount at the top that tied around the waist, crossing over at the crotch, where you were covered twice.  This was in the middle ages.  That is why they are called "a pair of pants."  Technically, they are two pants sewn together at the top,  Even centuries after they started sewing them together, the were still called a pair.  Panties, are short for pantaloons, from the Victorian age, which were the same thing as bloomers.

A bra is something that covers the chest and arms, in French (bras means arms) and was originally once piece.

  5. Thats a real question to dive into.

  6. Men say undershorts plural, and jock strap singularly.

  7. why do we park in a driveway and drive on a parkway?  I dunno ~

  8. Hmmmmmmmmmm .....

  9. Bra is short for brassiere which is a French word. Panties is a variation of underpants and it describes how they are worn. Pant is sometimes singular.
