I am having my first real period since my daughter was born in June.I'm bleeding really heavy which I know is normal but a few times there were a couple of very tiny bits of this yellow stuff that resembled plaque in the blood and it was mushy.(sorry if TMI)Has anyone ever seen this before in their menstrual flow with their first postpartum period?I haven't had many cramps and no pain and I don't have a fever or anything,I feel fine.Do you think it's something to be concerned about?

  1. it's it just a little bit, not too much, I wouldn't be concerned. It could be the remaing part of the uturs that is explelling. The plecenta usually leaves the body shortly after birrth but sometimes, small amounts don't always come out then and show up later. If it's gets heavier and you notice more of the stuff, get to your dr so they can get the rest out of you. The first 2-3 periods are usually heavy since your body is trying to return to pre-pg state.

  2. Ooh that sounds a bit weird, I would call and ask the doc if I were you. Mine was all just red

  3. I'm sorry but I'm not sure but I always say, if you are not sure or are in any way concerned about anything to do with your health that you think may not be normal, go and see your doctor or a midwife, they really will not mind and it will put your mind at rest.
