  1. Why she wants to open? Is your money is not enough to her lol.

  2. yes like Carl says if she wants to make a legal salon she needs a Saudi sponsor.. But having said this.. theres nothing wrong with having a few "special" customers of choice coming to her house, or even if you wife does home visits to do hair.. Thats also a thriving business if the hair dresser actually goes to the home with her little black bag of tricks and does it there.. Women here love to have their hair done its a thriving business here.... She could put up flyers in the American embassy or in Dhahran (Aramco) or anywhere that women frequent, like womens gyms, womens tailors etc..

  3. .....if she wants to run a parlor, she needs a saudi sponsor to operate it......

  4. Women can work in KSA.  A lot of women work in hospitals, schools, etc.  There are many beauty shops for women only, and the workers are all women.  In fact, I think that it's a great business for a woman to start in KSA because many Saudi women like to get their hair and make-up done for big weddings.

  5. Women can work in Saudi, they just need the permission of their husband to work.  They can't drive in Saudi Arabia and she'll need to get a driver or be escorted by you to her business. She can have a business as long as she isn't interacting with strange men.
