you had a drunk male friend (or bf) or a broken arm or leg would you walk him home or drive him home(either one)? Or is this something that only men can do for women ? Do men even walk women home? Most people drive right?

  1. Compassion is not a matter of gender, its a matter of humanity.

  2. Yes of course.

  3. Walk, drive, I don't care.  Yes I would do it.  A friend is a friend.

  4. Of course I would! It does not matter the gender as long as they get home safely!

  5. I'd do it.  Since I have a car, I'd drive him.  Like someone else said, "a friend is a friend."

  6. As a friend or a girlfriend, if my friend is drunk or my boyfriend I would drive or walk him home as I would expect him to do the same for me.

And yes MOST people do drive and no that is not something that only men can do for women. If you care for an individual it shouldn't matter.

  7. I wouldn't be much of a friend if I didn't, would I? Much less a girlfriend.

  8. When I had a car, I had driven people home if they'd had too much to drink...regardless of gender.  Now I'd just call a taxi.

  9. Sure they would. They might not even try to get into the guys pants... unlike the reverse.

  10. I'd walk him home, esp. if he needed something carried. I'd also offered to drive him home... because male or female, that's what friends do for one another.

  11. I drove a male friend (not a romantic partner) around when he broke his ankle and was unable to drive.  And this was back in 1983.

    What's the big deal?

I think most people worthy of being called "friend" would help a drunk get home safely and perhaps even help them into bed, or at least onto a sofa.  This is not gender-specific behavior.

  12. Yeah, I've done it before..Although, I had to have a guy friend help me walk my drunk ex bf home. I couldn't do it on my own, because my ex is bigger and stronger than me.

  13. I'd be willing to knock him over the head with a beer bottle if he got drunk and I had to carry his sorry-a*s home.
